The Clipboard feature in Windows XP is a key tool in collecting and working with text, graphics and even files. After a long project or a lot of cutting and pasting, it is often a good idea to clear the clipboard out to help avoid possible system slowdown.

Instructions:

1. Click on "Start," then choose "Run."

2. In the Run dialog box, type "Clipbrd" and click "OK." The ClipBook Viewer will appear.

3. In the Clipbook Viewer menubar, click "Edit." Then click "Delete."

4. A dialog box will appear, asking: "Do you want to clear the contents of the Clipboard?" Click "Yes."

5. Close the ClipBook Viewer.
