ได้มีการเปิดเผยแล้วว่าเพลงของ Green Day เพลงใดบ้างที่จะถูกนำไปใช้ในเกม Green Day: Rock Band ที่จะออกจำหน่ายในวันที่ 8มิถุนายนนี้
ขณะที่เหลือเวลาเพียงไม่ถึง 2เดือนเท่านั้นเกม Green Day: Rock Band ก็จะถูกส่งจำหน่ายแล้ว ซึ่งเกมเมอร์ที่เป็นแฟนเพลงของวง Green Day ก็เริ่มสงสัยว่าจะมีเพลงที่ชื่นชอบอะไรบ้างถูกนำมารวมไว้ในเกม โดยล่าสุดได้มีการเปิดเผยรายชื่อเพลงที่จะถูกนำมาใช้ในเกมแล้วโดยจะมีเพลงทั้งหมด 47เพลงส่วนใหญ่จะเป็นเพลงจากอัลบั้ม Dookie, American Idiot และ 21st Century Breakdown สำหรับอัลบั้มอื่นๆนั้นจะมีการนำเพลงมาอัลบั้มละไม่มากไม่เกิน 3เพลง ซึ่งเกม Green Day: Rock Band นั้นจะถูกส่งจำหน่ายในแพลตฟอร์ม PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 และ Wii โดยรายชื่อเพลงนั้นจะมีดังนี้ จากอัลบั้ม Dookie จะมีเพลง "Burnout", "Having a Blast", "Chump", "Longview", "Welcome to Paradise", "Pulling Teeth", "Basket Case", "She","Sassafrass Roots", "When I Come Around", "Coming Clean", "Emenius Sleepus", "In the End" และ "F.O.D." จากอัลบั้ม American Idiot มีเพลง "American Idiot", "Jesus of Suburbia", "Holiday", "Boulevard of Broken Dreams", "Are We the Waiting", "St. Jimmy", "Give Me Novacaine", "She's a Rebel", "Extraordinary Girl", "Letterbomb", "Wake Me Up When September Ends", "Homecoming", "Whatsername", "Minority" และ "Warning" จากอัลบั้ม Nimrod มีเพลง "Hitchin' a Ride, "Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)" และ "Nice Guys Finish Last" จากอัลบั้ม Insomniac มีเพลง "Brain Stew", "Jaded" และ "Geek Stink Breath" จากอัลบั้ม 21st Century Breakdown มีเพลง "Song of the Century", "21st Century Breakdown", "Before the Lobotomy", "Last Night on Earth", "Peacemaker", "Murder City", "?Viva La Gloria? (Little Girl)", "Restless Heart Syndrome", "Horseshoes and Handgrenades", "The Static Age", "American Eulogy" และ "See the Light"
