Computer Management Assistant

Act as an administrator of Post LAN. Responsible for the day to day operation, maintenance and provide technical support of all unclassified computer hardware, software, and network equipment. Provide technical support to Consular Section staff on use of computer system resources, including oversight of consular applications, installation of updates, troubleshooting problems, advising on consular section work processes, and developing methods to improve efficiency through use of software applications. Act as coordinator for unclassified and consular section special projects, including liaison with outside contacts and other Embassy sections as necessary. Provide user support and necessary training. Provide technical support to Post PABX systems, including installation of updates and troubleshooting problems. Responsible for the day to day intake, processing, and distribution of all local mail.

คุณสมบัติ : Minimum Qualifications:

(1) Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other disciplines with Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MSCE) certification.

(2) At least two years of responsible experience in a complex PC, Local Area Network (LAN), and Wide Area Network (WAN) environments.

(3) Fluent in speaking/reading/writing English and Thai.

(4) Must be familiar with systems analysis and basics of LAN/WANs, working knowledge of Microsoft Window 2003, Window XP and Exchange operating systems and advance knowledge of the Microsoft Office application suite.

(5) Must be able to maintain all LAN components including hardware, cables, disk operating software, applications and utilities software, various interface cards, hard disk, and user PC’s.
