โดยแดเนียลได้รับรางวัล Best Actor In A Play จากบทของเขาในเรื่อง The Cripple Of Inishmaan โดยระหว่างขึ้นรับรางวัลได้กล่าวว่า “ผมรู้สึกเป็นเกียรติมากๆครับที่ได้รับรางวัลอันทรงเกียรตินี้ ผมขึ้นรับรางวัลในนามของทีมงานทั้งหมดที่มีส่วนช่วยทำโปรดักชั่นเรื่อง The Cripple Of Inishman ให้เป็นประสบการณ์ที่สนุกสนานมากๆสำหรับผมในฐานะนักแสดง”
